After a very busy first half of the Spring Term, culminating in a successful class assembly, Year 6 spent some time unwinding last week!
Whilst on holiday, they had each been set some maths mysteries to solve, alongside the task of creating or researching something from the Tudor era. Zac successfully completed the mysteries, solving many mathematical clues to identify the guilty suspects. Hannah and Sophie opted to have a go at some Tudor baking, while Bea designed and prepared a whole Tudor feast! Scooter wowed us with his photography skills, capturing on camera the only surviving Elizabethan church in London. Amelie used her artistic talents to create a hand drawn Globe Theatre, and Quinn researched Tudor coins, making a large replica coin by imprinting the design onto cardboard.
Fantastic work all round – well done Year 6!
