William Russell, the Lord Mayor of the City of London officially opened our new home on Worship Street.
Our children, parents, staff and special guests were invited to watch the unveiling of the newly painted mural on the ground floor by the right honourable the Lord Mayor. The celebrations continued, the Chamber Choir performed the school song, “Four Pillars” for the very first time. Both the mural and the song represent the four core values that form the foundations of our school and are at the heart of everything we do; kindness, creativity, confidence and community.
Guests were then offered an exclusive tour of our 5-storey building and very much enjoyed seeing the large classrooms, filled with natural light and new equipment, as well as the new specialist classrooms in art, science, drama and yoga as well as the very impressive library and brand-new canteen.
The future for our school looks very bright indeed. Mrs Hilary Wyatt, Headmistress said,
“The Lyceum is renowned for offering an exceptional education. We have an outstanding team of teachers, kind and happy children, and extremely supportive parents; all it needed was a new building with space to grow into. The new building is a truly extraordinary place for a school, with large, bright and airy classrooms, it creates the perfect learning environment.
