Our Year 6s recently delivered 165.2kg of food to Hackney Food bank thanks to the generosity of the entire Lyceum community.
The Lyceum School’s food donation will contribute to 17 three-day emergency parcels which will help relieve immediate hunger for people in Hackney in crisis or trapped in poverty. Food parcels are provided alongside wider support, including connecting people with local organisations who can help them to address the causes and effects of poverty in their lives.
This most recent donation supplements the 174.6kg food donation we provided in October 2021, which provided 416 meals to those in need.
