Today we hosted The Lyceum’s Prize Giving Ceremony 2023.
Prize Giving is a celebration of everything our school community has achieved this year and a chance to come together to recognise the achievements and hard work of our pupils.
We awarded a Class Prize and a Progress Prize to a pupil in each class. Class Prizes celebrate an individual who has truly embodied the pillars of The Lyceum. Progress Prizes recognise individuals who have made considerable progress on all fronts.
“As I have settled into my tenure as Headmaster, I have been able to observe our four pillars in action every day and see examples of how kind, confident, creative and community-minded our pupils are. ” – Mike Stanley
Spectactular performances
Alongside a speech from Mr Stanley and our guest speaker Lorraine Lee, we were also treated to wonderful reprises of songs from Year 3 and 4’s Spring Term performance of Cinderella and Year 5 and 6’s performance of We’ll Meet Again.
Congratulations to Year 6
We will also award prizes to all our Year 6 children, recognising their hard work during the 11+ process and their fanstastic progress over their time at The Lyceum.
Our school’s achievements
It would be remiss not to celebrate the whole school’s achievement in receiving our ISI ‘excellent’ pastoral and ‘good’ academic rating, and The Lyceum being shortlisted for Independent School of the Year for Student Wellbeing 2023.
